This copy of Wipebot is run by one person, free and without ads. This is what it keeps about you, for how long, and who else sees it.
- Signing in. Your Warcraft Logs user id, your name there and the characters you claimed, with their guilds: to know who "I" is in a question and which guild's notes are yours. It also keeps the token Warcraft Logs gives it, encrypted, and reads Warcraft Logs with it for your questions, so your own Warcraft Logs API allowance is used first. The token sees only what's public. When Wipebot is no longer connected in any of your apps, the token is deleted, and the rest 90 days later.
- Private reports, only if you allow them (a second Warcraft Logs sign-in): a second token, encrypted, that Wipebot reads with only for reports it can't read otherwise, and only for your own questions. Nothing of a private report is cached or shown to anyone else, and a tool call that read one is kept without what it answered. The token is deleted when you stop it on that page, or with the first one.
- Tool calls. Wipebot sees only the calls your assistant makes to its tools, never the conversation: who called which tool, with what, and what it answered. Each call is kept for 90 days.
- Reports on answers. When you tell your assistant an answer was wrong and agree to send a report, Wipebot keeps what it sends: your question, the answer and what you said about it, with your Warcraft Logs name. It's kept as a tool call, for 90 days, and read beside the calls you made in the half hour before it.
- Raid notes and plans you save are kept with your name for your guild's members, up to the guild's 500 newest.
- Your conversation stays with Anthropic or OpenAI, under their terms.
The Discord bot
- Your questions to the bot, with the messages around them it reads to understand them, go to Anthropic (through OpenRouter) to be answered, or to the provider of the AI key an admin added for the server. The conversation is kept on the server for up to 30 days, so follow-ups and a restart go on from it, and isn't read otherwise.
- What each answer cost, with the server's and the asker's Discord ids, is kept 90 days, to share the free
answers fairly and to show
/usage. - What you ask it to remember (your character, a few preferences) is kept until you ask it to forget.
- Posts after wipes: who asked for them and where, until they're stopped.
- Signing in with
/login: your Warcraft Logs id, name and token, the token encrypted, until you sign out with/login remove:Trueor it lapses. Your questions read Warcraft Logs with it, so your own points pay first; it reads only public reports. With/login private:True, a second token that reads your private reports, kept the same way and used only for reports the bot can't read otherwise, for your questions; the answer goes where you asked, and the record of its tool calls leaves out what they read. - A server's settings and the AI key an admin added (encrypted, never shown) are kept until an admin removes them or the bot leaves the server; then they're deleted.
Who else sees it
- Warcraft Logs handles signing in, and Wipebot reads public reports there, as you, and your private ones when you allow it.
- Cloudflare carries the traffic to this server.
- Discord carries the bot's messages, and OpenRouter and Anthropic its answers.
- The person who runs it reads tool calls to find and fix wrong answers and abuse.
Nothing is sold or shared for advertising, and this website has no tracking or analytics.
Where it's kept, and your rights
Everything is on the server of the person who runs it, and is backed up, so deleted data can remain in a backup for a while. Wipebot also keeps copies of Warcraft Logs data and of guide pages, which are public. Error logs are rotated as they grow.
To see or delete what's kept about you, or to report a problem, email [email protected]. You can also complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian data protection authority.
